Ventrilo

HKC Radio since November 2006 has had a Ventrilo server, which has proven to be quite popular. You can join us on there to talk about all kinds of random stuff. All you need is a computer (well, you already have that if you're reading this), a microphone, a broadband internet connection, and Ventrilo , a free voice chat program that you can download by visiting the website above. Once the program is installed and you've created a username (if you don't have one already), You may simply click the following link to Connect to the server. See? That wasn't hard was it? Now start chatting!! See you on the server! Here is some statistical information updated as of now that you may use to decide whether or not to join the server.

Please note that the Ventrilo server that was mensioned in previous HKC Radio shows, that of ventrilo.HKCRadio.com port 3784, was a server hosted on our dedicated server that only held eight users, unlike this server. The old server no longer works.

Yaps

Yaps is our new email list. Yaps is the place for any and all HKC Radio Staff and listeners to discuss HKC Radio things in your inbox. Yaps also provides announcements about HKC Radio shows from the DJ's, and is the new place to see Chris's popular Friday Night Lineup advertisements. To join, make sure you're registered to the site. Once done, click on "Mailing lists" and follow the prompts.
