HKC Radio

Hey all,
I hope things are good here at HKC. A little over a year ago I was "let go" from the HKC staff because of bad attendance. There was a ton of real life stuff going on at the time. Like all challenges in life they come we deal and grow from having them and they pass.
I'm doing 2 shows a week now. The Mr. Bubble Wonder Hour and 'The 5000 year Leap Podcast Series'
I would like to to Have HKC Broadcast the latter show on Thursday nights 11pm Eastern.
Not to sound like a student by I've had perfect attendance. I can respect the owners of HKC wanting to run a tight ship, telling listeners to listen at a certain time for a great show only to find that the show isnt there. Sorta puts a dent in the credibility of the station.

"so this is Christmas, and what have you done?" If you're lucky I will not sing the song and make John Lennon turn over in his grave due to my bad singing, but anyway. This is about shows, and I've never really done a forum up here before so I guess I should because it's fun.

There is less than a week until Christmas day no matter where you are in this world. This means it is time for the annual Trek and JDX Christmas show, and the first one I will hear. I can not tell you if they are always good because I've not checked one out. Oh no! How ever they are both generally a good, and you should check them out. Their show will be on at 9 pm eastern, 2 AM universal. Figure it out from there. (right after the final Digital Domain of the year.)

November will be here soon, and a day to decide will soon be upon the United States. The choice of President will affect many nations, ours included, and with our alliances to the US, our own security is at stake.

Hello folks. Well, today tcjwb is going to be hopefully not broken as last week I changed a path on my hd and broke all the IDs, beds, and mostly the whole show.

Today we are going to be hearing the mass in b minor by J.S Bach. I might start a bit early to make sure everything is working. I'm thinking about 8 minutes to 9. The music will be from the gibbon's Family singers and I chose some pieces appropiate to Easter Sunday next week. so come on in an have a blast. I'll be in the irc channel as well.

Arthur Conley and The Mr. Bubble Wonder Hour returns in 2 weeeks or sooner.

Hi all. Real-life situations that needed my undivided attention have made me postpone streaming of 7200 Seconds for more weeks than I wanted. But at this point, I will go out on a limb and say that 7200 Seconds should be returning to stream Wednesday night, November 14th, at 9 PM Eastern.

I appreciate all the HKC Radio Staff and listener support during these times. They were not expected to affect the show as it has, but rest assured that 7200 Seconds will return and stay for quite some time to come.

Hi all! If you heard Show #34 of 7200 Seconds, you heard Nick and I bounce around an interesting idea. Maybe HKC Radio should consider streaming in AAC Plus, a new way to stream audio which has incredibly good quality at lower bitrates.

But I want to see what others think. So post your response and let Nick, Bob, Amanda and the rest of us here at HKC Radio what you think. And if enough of you want it to happen, we can start running AAC Plus tests and find out if it can become a reality sooner than later.
