HKC explodes!

Submitted by chris on January 9, 2009 - 4:10pm.

HKC Radio is doing it fine in 09...oops, I’m sorry to be cliché, but if I may borrow the term, its all happening here.
For the first time in a long time, things are moving forward and picking up momentum with every passing week.

The 9 pm timeslots of Friday and Saturday, which did already contain shows, now contain new shows. The existing ones have moved up to 11 pm on their respective days.
On Fridays, after you've had your weekly outing to the sit down comedy club that is the digital domain online radio show, there's time for you to gather yourself before the one way roundabout. Be blown away by good tunes and the equally musical tones of Missouri madwoman Katie!

Say goodbye to Mike Capelle, say hello to Arthur Conley

Submitted by nick on September 8, 2006 - 7:04am.

The Juke box. Part of the biggest anouncement in HKC Radio history. The show never happened, if you get rid of the pilot. Something had to be done about that. So, something new is to take its place. The show's called the Mr. Bubble Wonder Hour, heard on Thursdays from 9 PM to 11 PM. The show is primarily a gaming and tech show, though these days he's been branching out into the world of harder, more political news. So tune into the Mr. Bubble Wonder Hour, you won't be disappointed.

The Friday Night Lineup Returns, three new shows added to it, Thursday Show Officially Takes The Green, and more

Submitted by nick on August 7, 2006 - 7:42pm.

This story, baring the largest headline in HKC Radio history, announces more things at once than ever before. In short, the passed few months have been a very interesting ride for those here, and it’s time for us to tell you all about it in this newsletter-like story.

You heard of two programming acquisitions on June 21, that of “the one Way Roundabout” and “The Rock Stop.” The Rock Stop began its programming on Wednesday August 2 to favorable affair. But HKC Radio, for its own reasons, has been withholding information to its website visitors which will now be shared. First up, “The Juke Box” with Mike C officially has joined the lineup. It broadcasts on Thursdays from 8 PM to 10 PM Eastern time. Like a true juke box, you do not know what you are going to hear. He’ll play it all, from the tokens to Afro Man, and everything in between. So if you would like an interesting ride on Thursdays, tune in.

HKC Radio is pleased to report to you that Big Mikey, the aclaimed "everything goes" broadcaster, will be making his premiere tonight at 11 PM eastern. Mikey will go on until he drops, as is his tredition, to round out our solid Friday Night lineup. As a fan of his show for a while now, I've wanted this for a while now, and am very happy it will happen tonight and for many other friday nights. There is also going to be standard programming tonight, except for the digital domain online radio, which will be a rerun.
